今天去庭育姐那裡吃午餐

她煮了一鍋金瓜糊

金色一整片

熱呼呼的超好吃

配一碗五穀米飯

還有烏龜豆

 

作法: 金瓜剖半丟去飯鍋蒸軟

然後混合HL milk用攪拌機打成黏稠稠的汁

這堆混合品再放進鍋子裡開煤氣加熱

就是好吃的湯底啦

就是上次Xenia學姐帶我和Lisa去吃的

牛奶火鍋湯底

 

還可以自行添加冬粉

水豆腐   香菇   豬肉片等等

豬肉片要浸在蛋白裡(不要有蛋黃的)

 

火鍋裡不要丟蛋進去

不然整鍋東西很快臭掉

而且"糊糊"(庭育是這麼說)的

馬克說   這部電影是2004年最多人租借的DVD

最精采的是電影結束時

我們的老師居然效法電影裡那個向Keira表白的男角一樣

寫了很多張A4紙給我們全班看

這個禮拜不用寫movie review

作為我們的聖誕禮物

驚喜的尖叫此起彼落

 

然後大家即匆匆回到舊系館等候馬克蒞臨

我們的班長Florence 精心準備了一棵紙作的聖誕樹

立體的

超美麗

我很好奇它是怎麼立起來的

班長笑說中間是用筷子使它固定

4大片的聖誕葉裡面

貼滿了100級寫的祝福卡片

我發現好多有創意又美的卡片

有剪成雪人形狀的,很多奇怪的卻很精緻的形狀的卡片

真美

 

等到我們幾乎以為他從別的地方走掉的時候

After realising what time it was, and remembered well on 8.10  the Linguistics Class started,

i sprung up from my cosy bed and rushed to washroom

to my despair the bathroom is still out of function

hot water is nowhere to be found

feeling sicked and battered i resorted to the sink

i dun even wash my face before stepped into the class~ ==

 

So happy on listening class today

we didn;t touch the textbook at all

MArk showed us "The Sopranos" by HBO

we watched 3 times of the selected scene, the "intervention" part:

Mark had us watch it 3 times: first with Chinese subtitle, 2nd with English, 3rd with no subtitle at all

i think this way is working well on me

otherwise i will be blank on their conversation at all

--these are what i catch in watching this scene today

oh oh, i mispronounce gibbersih

 

The gangsters are dealing with Ralph who is seriously addicted to drugs

and in the ward, i can see rough gangster chief really loves his nephew(Ralph)

even his hands still seem not so gentle, but the love and concern to Ralph is undeniable

hhmmm, showing love can through many different ways, not necessarily must be gentle..?

 

Then we had a break

and we listened to one funny song, "We Didn’t Start The Fire" by Billy Joel

I dunno who he is at all, so are my classmates

but Mark said he is famous

 

i was completely battered by all those names or things mentioned in the lyrics

== i hardly recognize any of them

somehow i think the surname "Truman" ring a bell to me

but i couldn't remmeber it after all==

 

then we played a game!^^

Vic and Gary and I are of same group,

Gary figured out what R.V means

wow, guys really better than girls when it comes to vehicles i guess

i am so surprised that they suggested P.J stands for pyjama

i am so pleased that i got its spelling right(a-ha, i only contribute to the spelling while they come out with the idea)

our group is not bad^^

i learnt much from the cooperation^^

 

Yesterday for the sake of Listening Class too

i had the chance to talk to Ida,

first time talking with her^^

and Carol too

then only i know Carol learnt folk dance in her childhood for many years

and for Ida, her parents actually sent her for piano class when she was little

Last Friday, again, on LTR class our teacher mentioned about Haiku(日本俳句) again

from her i know there is a terrific haiku with the word "frog"

this stirred my interest

so on friday night i did a bit of internet searching and i found this:

I watched this kind of educational + motivational film on this surname "Clark" before

That was in Hope JB

Pastor Ong showed us, if i remembered it rightly, in one PM

That title of the DVD is Ron Clark, starred by , issued in Dec 2006

I remember Matthew Perry who acted Clark, the devoted teacher

now as i watched him starring in "Friends" in the 8th season as another character simply makes me feel awkward a bit

 

Lean on Me

this is the movie Mark showed us today

i can't help but thinking much of the scenes in this film must be a make-up one, rather than a real life footage

cz anyhow it's a film...has to cut everything short in 105 minutes or so

can't allow you to elaborately plainly, got to be put in sth DRASTIC to make the film more exciting ==

 

One thing i remember very well is that the Vice principal, the bk woman yelled at Clark,

saying that he is putting those who support him the most in a very sorry state

and what she said has finally turned Clark into someone who can finally lower down himself,

and finally realise by his own power or determination, without any team support,

he will surely never go anywhere

Clark eventually has the grasp of the value of teamwork,

and on stage he openly confess his mistake to her, without stating the name

and her response is crumpled up the transfer letter in her palm; she forgives him

this scene somehow reached me

i wonder this Joe Clark and Ron Clark

one is 1989 and the latter is 2006

are they somehow related
