Then we raised the words like seminal, corpus, etc. There is one particular sentence that i understand each word inside but cannot grasp hold of what it wants to say. highlight in blue shade. And i asked, and i got a reply. Then i know that this complicated S actually equals to "Though his poems are great... enjoy merits... but people seldom read them", simple as that~ yet it disguise itself in such complicated S structure making me frustrated to figure out what it means. If we want to break down the S into smaller parts, this is the way how it should be: what is in proportion to its merits /the least read body of poetry in the English language Oh~ I asked myself while doing what i was instructed to. 結婚居然就像開餐廳的那個老陳說的
"我不是給你辦婚禮,而是給你爸爸辦的...師長您放心,我絕對不會讓您丟臉...不會丟到美國這兒來!"
唉
面子,面子
有幾家人能接受獨子同性戀呢
現在不一樣了唄!
好像同性戀已經可以堂而皇之的被接受了

我覺得他很自私
因為他的坦白會造成媽媽的錯愕,還有痛苦
不過反過來想也可以理解他多麼辛苦
明明對女人沒感覺卻要扮正常的丈夫
可是電影到後來居然是老父早就知道兒子出櫃
早在媽媽知道以先
當偉同+simon+薇薇在餐桌上以為兩老不諳英語
simon因為薇薇真的懷孕而發作大吵時
老父就已經知道了
他的反應是靜靜繼續吃飯
還有空檔叫老伴"不說話沒人當妳是啞巴"==
最絕的是當他和simon單獨對話的時候說
"如果我不讓他們(母子+薇薇)騙...我怎麼抱的了孫子呢?"

老師唸完這些演員的名字後
不以為然的說: "y taking this class? ... of cz u can just watch the film, without taking note of the leading casts...but if that is the case, u r not making use of this class to the best of your ability...u know, these stars are all VERY Famous, when u r in a airplane or sth or want to start a conversation with sb, these names will be useful... Alex isn't important; Glenn Close is; Dan isn't important, Michael Douglas is..."
老師說的這些話是我從沒想過的
比如上一次他講Royal Tenanbaum
那個總是以自己的喜好為出發點
所以不知道自己的話傷女兒多麼深的老人
老師分析:
"Royal Tenanbaum的兒子教孫子how to fear life...
而老祖父則讓孫子至少體驗一下生活可以擁有的樂趣...
(至少他認為很有趣)去爬上垃圾車兜風
帶兩個7歲不到的孫子去小商店偷竊等等"

說到Mc Murphy的時候:
"其實他不是真的想以英雄姿態自居...

不是為了帶給他們歡樂
而是因為自己想要這種生活方式
我聽的一愣一愣的
之前都沒有這樣想過
現在才以新的角度去看McMurphy
才沒有那麼惋惜他中lobotomy
他只不過是不期然間為瘋人院注入活力
老師繼續點出劇裡一些片段
"McMurphy其實是一個小孩子,不過有成人的身型而已
你看他執意要開電視時的樣子,根本就像小孩子得不到糖果時的撒賴一樣...
他完全憑自己衝動行事, 這點和Royal Tennabaum不是很像嗎!
他還容易情緒失控,去掐nurse Ratched的脖子．．．

when Mark said it was nominated for an Acedemy Award but lost
i was extremely interesting in finding out how to be eligible for the Academy Award?
So i searched the internet, and find out that
"To be eligable for an Academy Award for best short or best animated short,
the film must have been shown at any one of a number of Academy selected festivals or award ceremonies. "
